HOW TO BECOME A FLIPKART SELLER

A person/firm/company must register in the seller’s page on Flipkart to become a Flipkart seller. Any person or business can sign up as a Flipkart seller by providing the relevant information about the business and the products they want to sell through Flipkart. Some basic details that must be provided and verified during the Flipkart Seller signup and registration process, include:

Business Registration documents for a Flipkart seller

Following documents are required if you fall under sole proprietorship: Business proofs, owner’s Identity, and address proofs:
-A declaration from the business owner stating that he/she manages the respective business current bank account

Selling on Flipkart as a Partnership Firm or Limited Liability Partnership (LLP)
You can be a Flipkart seller with partnership firm or LLP form of business. LLP gives you certain advantages like limited liability, easy access to funds, and transferability of shares. The following documents need to be submitted if you wish to register as a partnership firm or LLP:
Identity Proof
-PAN card of all the partners, LLP or firm
-Partnership registration or LLP Incorporation Certificate
-Partnership deed
-The power of Attorney granted to a Partner or an Employee of the firm or LLP to transact business on behalf of the firm
-Any document of the power of Attorney, which states that power of partners and the persons with their photograph
Address Proof
-Any valid document confirming the address of the Partners and that of the person holding the Power of Attorney
-Rental or lease agreement
-Office Electricity bill/Telephone bill

Flipkart Seller: Tax Registration Requirements
For any type of business entity the following Tax registration documents are mandatory
-Business Details, Current Account details, like; Bank name, Account number, and IFSC code
-PAN – PAN Card of the individual
-TIN- In order to get the TIN number you have to register VAT /CST here
-TAN – TAN is required for Tax Deduction at Source (TDS) – in the name of business

Starting to sell on Flipkart
Once the business promoters have provided the above information, documents, and registrations, the business can commence selling the products on Flipkart.
